A couple of years ago Melissa and I put together a 1000 piece puzzle. Ok, Melissa put together about 950 of the pieces…but I did help. When we got down to the very end of the puzzle we realized that this puzzle didn’t come with 1000 pieces, it only had 999 pieces. And the funny thing is that the missing piece was right smack dab in the middle. I have a conspiracy theory about a puzzle factory worker, a mouse, and an aversion to Christmas carols before Thanksgiving but that is too long to go into here.
But the truth is there is something really exciting when all the pieces come into place. And I believe that we have finally completed the puzzle. All the pieces are in place, or at least they are going to be very shortly.
Mark Philips will be joining our ministry team as the Worship Pastor. He is extremely talented in music but more importantly he is a worshipper, and I can’t wait to see how God uses him to help our church experience God in a way that we never have before.
Also, Jason Mauck will be joining our ministry team as the Youth Pastor. He has a heart for the youth culture and a strong desire to see kids that are not familiar or comfortable with church become permanent fixtures in the Wednesday night youth service and Sunday morning worship services.
I am extremely excited to have these two men join our team. I feel like all the pieces are in place. Greater things are yet to come.
