Petition for Salvations

01 Apr

This is the formal Prayer Petition that the staff of North Shore wrote out in the month of March.  Please pray this with us whenever you can…

Father, we come to you in the name of Jesus on this day, March 28, 2012, standing on the promises of Your Word.  According to Matthew 21:22 which says, “whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”  Mark 11:24 which says, “Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”  And also John 16:23, in which Jesus said, “whatever you ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you.”  And so become of the promise of these scriptures we come boldly to the throne of grace…asking for 100 recorded salvations in the year 2012.

Lord, according to Matthew 9:37 we know that the “Harvest” is ready… and we believe that we have been called according to your will at this time to be the laborers that You have sent out to bring in this “Harvest.”  And so today we appeal to the Lord of the Harvest and ask for a blessing on our efforts this year and this Easter…to bring in the Harvest.

And Father, we have confidence in this prayer because we know that we are praying according to your good will as you so clearly command in Luke 14:23 “Go out to the highways and hedges and compel people to come in, that my house may be filled.”  Because of this scripture we know that it is your desire to have a packed house every Sunday at our church as we lift up your Son, Jesus.  We also know that it is your desire that none should perish, but that all should reach repentance, according to 2 Peter 3:9.  So again…we ask that you use our church and our ministry to bring about your will for the city of Hastings.

Also, we ask that you would prepare the hearts of those who are going to come into our services before hand so that the seed that is sown may fall on good soil according to Matthew 13:23.

Finally, we stand with the confidence that “not one word has failed of all the good things that the Lord your God promised concerning you.”  (Joshua23:14)  Knowing that there is no power in our words or our petitions but the power rests in the unending…unstoppable promises of God.

Teach us to Fish!  (Luke 5:10)

Thank you; Lord, for the power of your Word and the strength of your Promises.

ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus!

I’m praying that my husband David is one of those 100 salvations.
