The Invitation

07 Jun

Recently, a website/ blog called Church Marketing Sucks wrote a series of blogs about empowering those who attend church called, “Power to the Pews”. One of the blogs in the series is on inviting people to church and it has some thought provoking ideas that I wanted to share with you.

Check it out by clicking here.

What do you think of this post? What are some practical ways you invite people to church?

**Offended by the name Church Marketing Sucks? The people behind the site use that word for good reason and they explain on their site why, you can read why here: Why the word: sucks. On their about us page they boldly say that they are offended too and state this, “for too long the church has been the object of scorn and Christans have been the reason people turn away from Christianity. It’s time to change.” Marketing a church is not just a website, Facebook page or a flyer, it is also the interactions we have with people in our community & how we treat them. Each of us are a representation of our church and our God, that representation is in a sense marketing.
